Walking a dog on a trail in a Wolf weighted vest

Make every walk count.

A weighted vest turns the walk you already take into strength training. Start light. Add weight as you get stronger.

How it works

Same walk. More strength.

Walking is the habit you already keep. But your body adapts — and after a while, the same route stops making you stronger. Adding load changes that. Weight makes your legs, hips, and back work harder on every step, the same way carrying a heavy pack does.

The Wolf vest holds curved steel plates flat against your torso. You start with a light pair — 5.75 lb per plate — and add weight in small steps as walks start to feel easy. No gym, no new routine. Just your walk, working harder.

Straight answers

Before you buy.

How heavy should I start?

Lighter than you think. The lightest plates are 5.75 lb each (sold in pairs), and a common starting point is 5–10% of body weight. Add weight only when a walk starts to feel easy.

Will it fit me?

One size adjusts from XS to XL through the shoulder and waist straps. Cinch it so the plates sit flat against your torso.

Do I have to hold it down on a long walk?

The plates are curved to follow your torso, the yoke is padded, and airflow panels keep it breathable. As one verified Amazon reviewer puts it, “the weight plates are held securely without shifting around during workouts” — a walk won’t move it.

What if it's not for me?

Unused gear can be returned within 60 days. And every Wolf product is backed by our Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship — if something fails, we'll make it right.
